I just saw your amazing blog header photo. This place is on my mental bucket list now.
In turn I have something for your list point “Change somebody’s life for the better”. We write down how a global society should look like for providing every human being a life in happiness and peace. So, maybe you like it. And maybe you can use this knowledge for helping someone … or millions ;o)

Thanks again for this blog header image =),

That’s awesome!! I like the idea of bucket lists because they hold you to having more fun :)!

I saw that you wanted to go to Yosemite National Park, it really is beautiful, and if you love to hike, it is definitely a place to go to.

    • justalittlebrit August 26, 2011 at 11:57 pm #

Thank you! and ohhh I would love to go hike there and I hopefully will some day 🙂 Thanks for your recommendation!

The Northern Light is something I often see during cold nights close to the arctic circle in the Northern parts of Sweden. The coolest place to see the northern lights is in the ICE HOTEL in Jukkasjärvi… did it myself and it was great, cold but a total different experience! http://www.icehotel.com/

      • justalittlebrit August 31, 2011 at 8:13 pm #

I’ve seen travel shows on the Ice Hotel!! I would LOVE to go there, it looks beyond incredibly beautiful and I hope that I can stay there sometime and especially to see the Northern Lights from there! Thanks for sharing : )

I love how you have a page for your bucket list and freely admit it’s growing! Great photos on your blog, too. Loved Chinatown post. Reminded me of my surprises while in SF. Thanks for commenting on our blog at 3 Shared Paths, which led me back to your blog to read some great travel destination recommendations. That’s what fills my bucket list. –Rebecca

      • justalittlebrit December 29, 2011 at 1:39 pm #

Oh wow, I’ve been to the Pantheon!! And believe it or not, it’s one of my father’s (the Hedin who gave me the name) favorite buildings in the whole world. What a trip, it’s simply beautiful.

  8. Ready Freddy October 10, 2011 at 1:14 pm #

  9. Cloonan October 31, 2011 at 4:20 pm #

I never really focused on a writing down a bucket list…but I have to say after reading yours I was loving it. The percentage of things you are seeking would mirror many of my choices. Great minds think alike.

Hey Brit! You don’t know me; I found your blog by accident. I think I was looking up some photos on Google, and then I landed here… I love your blog! Totally awesome stuff! Funny thing is, I’m actually working on my bucket list right now. I’ve knocked out a few things on it, but after seeing all your cool pictures, my list getting even bigger:-D

    • justalittlebrit November 4, 2011 at 7:59 am #

Thank you, Justin! Bucket lists are so hard to put together but so much fun to conquer 🙂

I surf when I get a chance, even though I’m an old dude. You live in SF. You should surf Pacifica, or Half Moon Bay – when the waves are smaller – but definitely wear a wetsuit. The water is SO cold there!

  12. thespectatorssport.wordpress.com/ December 23, 2011 at 12:42 pm #

You should check out my bucket list–It’s got 100 things-to-do on it. 🙂 A couple of our to-dos interlap; I too want to go in a hot air balloon, I think it would be so awesomely cool!

  13. treubold December 28, 2011 at 3:19 pm #

Love the list and all the great photos on your blog. Thanks for visiting my blog earlier, too!

  14. Martin Hedin December 29, 2011 at 11:05 am #

Is your surname Hedin? (saw it on twitter) Does your family come from Sweden originally? I am from Sweden and my family name is Hedin too 😉

    About your bucket list:

Northern Lights – I’ve seen them, about a handfull different types, I saw a electrically charged cloud ones, it was glowing in the morning sky, pretty cool. I would like to do it again for real, go somewhere way up north during the winter when the air is clear.

Ride a hot air balloon. – Done that too 😉 I was pretty little so I have to do that again as well.

Change someones live for the better – I’ve changed my girlfriends life I think, hopefully it’s for the better. My dog really changed my life, she thought me to live in the present. And the sad thing was that she died so early (became nine years old, had her since she was three). She was the best that has happened to me, and the worst when she left so suddenly.

Been to Croatia! Italy might be better :/

Maybe you should add entering this building to your list, if you haven’t already! http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a5/Pantheon%2C_Rome.jpg

    • justalittlebrit December 29, 2011 at 1:37 pm #

Wow, Martin! That is crazy, I am a Hedin with my relatives originally from Sweden!! What a trip, so thankful you found me : )

Your stories about achievements from my bucket list are great, too. I had a horse that changed my life both for the same reasons as your dog. Animals can really have that effect, can’t they? I’m going to check out that building you shared now.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I wonder if we belong to the same family generations back!

        Two other funny things.

        1) I see that you where recently in Hawaii. Well I live currently in the Canary Islands, which are kind of the Hawaii of the Atlantic.

        2) You are interested in architecture. I study Architecture, and this is my fifth year. I will probably have my degree next Christmas 😀

The world is soooo much smaller than we think, I discover that every now and then. It is probably because of the Matrix or something. Sometimes things just seem to happen because you want them too. You wrote about following your dreams, and that you can achieve anything and all that. Well, sometimes it seems almost frighteningly true.

Thanks for adding your link to the Project 365 challenge I love Photo’s too but funny thing is I am not so “in love” with it. I am taking this challenge on to become a better photographer.

  16. dinkerson January 9, 2012 at 10:55 am #

I think I’ll just copy and paste these onto my own bucket list. Yes, I suspect these will do just fine. 🙂

  17. Sarah January 10, 2012 at 3:58 pm #

This is a great idea! I love, love, love this. Would you mind if I copied you and added one to my blog? I need the reminders sometimes, you know?

I like the way you think…..

    Have a great night!

    • justalittlebrit January 10, 2012 at 4:08 pm #

Of course not!! I think everyone should have a bucket list. It keeps you motivated to live life to the fullest 🙂 I’ve seen them on a ton of blogs and I love reading about and sharing dreams with others. Thanks for stopping in, I feel like we have an Upper mid-west connection 🙂

    Hi justalittlebrit!
I’m a friend of chelsea who linked me here!
We have so many of the same goals on our bucket lists!

I thought this would be perfect for you because it would totally take out a bunch of your list in one go!

You could win a contest, travel to Alaska, go ice fishing, and maybe see the northern lights!

I found it in my searches for a contest that will take me and henry to see the northern lights!

    Lots of luck! 😀

    • justalittlebrit February 16, 2012 at 9:10 am #

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhKpOz4SROE ( how every summer is in barcelona / balear islands )

    good list!

    • justalittlebrit February 16, 2012 at 5:02 pm #

I’ve actually been to Barcelona before and LOVED it! Such an architecturally gorgeous place, I’d love to see other parts of Spain. What a beautiful country!

      • mattrecepies February 17, 2012 at 1:04 am #

I’m glad to hear you loved it! 🙂

  20. theburntmap March 15, 2012 at 10:55 pm #

Wow!! Now that’s nice bucket you’ve got!! 🙂 All the very best!! and think of including India too, I’m sure you would not be disappointed!

  21. chloeblankenship017 March 23, 2012 at 9:36 am #

I have a bucket list as well. I think I might post it to my blog, too, but its so long I need energy to type it all.

    • justalittlebrit March 27, 2012 at 11:19 am #

I felt the same way about mine, there is so much more I want to put on there! I started hand-writing them as I went along and then when I had a good list going, I added it to my blog. I still update it all the time though. I just recently added White Water Rafting. That’s the beauty, it’s your list so you can change it or have it as big or little as you want 🙂

  22. Sean Breslin June 4, 2012 at 3:13 pm #

Love your blog…good luck on knocking out this list!

  23. noel of Hennacornoelidays June 9, 2012 at 9:53 pm #

We think you should add Pacific Rim National Park (Vancouver Island) to the list. Really one of the coolest places we have ever been. Also Waterton National Park. We have pictures of both on our blog. hennacornoelidays.wordpress.com

  24. Max June 19, 2012 at 9:40 am #

Add Beijing and Hong Kong to the places you want to visit. If you didn’t go there, you’d be missing a large chunk of the world! There’s so much culture, the people are friendly, the nightlife is great, and things are cheap!

  25. thebettermanprojects November 2, 2012 at 6:46 pm #

Ahh! i have a bucket list too! It was for this year 🙂 I love your blog. I also live in The Bay Area and funny enough, I am almost entirely british haha. Love to hear from you.
