Riding off into the sunset?

15 Aug

People use the expression “riding off into the sunset” like it’s not a possibility but my Friday night at the barn was no ordinary ride.  Since I work all day, during the winter I never get to ride outside because the sun is already down by the time I get out to the barn.  Friday night however, the sun was still out when I got to the barn so I tacked up and headed down to our outdoor arena.  The sun started to set and I had to snap a photo because the sunset was so beautiful.  Here’s the photo that I got.

It was one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen.  All animals were out enjoying the nice night.

Aww I couldn’t help but to notice your lovely title! And I see that you love horses:) Do you have any favorite places for horseback riding and why?

I LOVE your first photo–the swirl of clouds reflected in the lake is absolutely stunning!

Thank you! I love riding anywhere 🙂 I have been trained and train horses in behavior and dressage but will ride trails, western, jumping, and always up for trying more! What about you??

Ahh that’s amazing. How did your love of horses develop? I’ve never really ridden a horse before but it looks peaceful and fun.

Your blog really caught my attention because I just wrote a blog about horseback riding on the beach here in San Diego, and so that image of riding off into the sunset is fresh on my mind lol.
